Connecting people around the 2010 U.S. Census and beyond

I recently applied for a position with the Census Bureau as a field representative for the Bureau's ongoing surveys. Does anyone know the hiring process for this?

I thought this forum posted information about that position. Sure I think there is a link somewhere. I might be wrong on that than I would look up on internet via Census Jobs!
Enjoyed your posts on this forum. Wanted to update you on my progress on EEO complaint for Age and Sex. Moved into Phase II after an extensive investigation which is a rebuttal to the side of Census officials here in our fair state of North Carolina. Sent the rebuttal in a nice zippered three ring binder with in my opinion a prepondence of evidence that indeed Census management needs revamping. In my opinion they must move back into the 21st Century with hand held computers (HHC's) that actually work and managers that work in harmony with their field staff. While I am not at liberty to discuss my rebuttal as that is confidential at this stage this simply is an update that "hope" is not lost. As I am on the shadowy part of the mountain in age perhaps just perhaps this last hurrah will make any future Census operations resounding successes that will be rewarding to work and not be heart breaking to so many employees in the past or future. May God be on my side as at this point he is my co-pilot in this quest.....not just myself but many others as this may be the icebreaker needed to correct what is wrong and make the Census a resounding success that all of America can be proud of. After all I know that I am proud to be an American and strive by writing to make this a better place and a better world for all!
